Barbie since 1959 is definitely an icon of style and a symbol of female empowerment.
The new Barbie movie released in these days has fueled a real Barbie-mania and this shocking pink invasion has managed to dye the world of cinema, music (with a soundtrack signed by great collaborations, from Dua Lipa to Billie Eilish) as well as the fashion system and influencers from Chiara Ferragni to Kim Kardashian.
To bring a bit of the magical world of Barbie there are lot of collaborations with the most important companies of the Fashion System: everyone wants to capitalize on the phenomenon of the moment.
Gap, Zara, H&M and Stradivarius and Forever 21 have created doll-inspired clothes with t-shirts, swimsuits, tank tops and shorts, sandals and even dog clothes.
Superga and Aldo also wanted to pay homage to Barbie with a collection of shoes, sandals and décolletées in full Barbie glam while OPI and NYX respectively created a line of highly colored nail polish and make-up.
