Sabor announces a new collaboration with Disney, in celebration of the release of the new live action movies “The Little Mermaid” on May 24, 2023 and “Snow White” in 2024. The two titles are part of a list of other upcoming releases including “Hercules” , “Peter Pan and Wendy” and the prequel to “The Lion King”. Disney, in the year of its centenary, seems to have ambitious plans: to bring its classics back to the big screen and allow an audience of all ages to relive the great emotions of cartoons. Iconic films and characters cannot be missing even in the new fashion collections. With the imminent arrival of “The Little Mermaid”, fashion items with a “mermaidcore” aesthetic had walked the runways of the spring/summer 2023 collection, with sparkling colors, shells and mesh dresses. Blumarine has translated the imagery of “The Little Mermaid” in washed-out denim, studded cardigans, and long skirts that recreate the effect of waves, while the designer Nensi Dojaka has created a more romantic style, giving life to an elegant and refined dress which takes up the shape of the shells on the bustier.
