Sabor reinforces its innovative spirit with a new disruptive collaboration with Sonic, a successful icon able to resist changing fashions and trends, renewing itself over time.

Sonic is a brand for two generations, both for the kids who used to play the video game on the Sega Megadrive in the 90s, and for the new generation who have spent many hours in front of the video game, have seen the film at the cinema, watched the cartoons on TV, and bought the comic books at the newsstands.

The projects realised in this 2022 are many: Sonic 2 – the film with Paramount that debuted in cinemas in the spring of this year, a new Netflix-branded series called Sonic Prime, and the first open world video game, Sonic Frontiers.

Sega has created a veritable franchise that has shown all its explosive success also with consumer products, taking the sellout to the maximum for numerous references put on the shelf.

Sonic capsule collections are fashionable not only for children but also for adults, and represent vintage images of the blue hedgehog.

Sabor’s products feature a rich range of garments with a monochrome mood and neon details, which will join the likes of Zara, Pull&Bear, Original Marines and street brands such as Puma and Hype, in 2023.

The Hedgehog’s future is all but uncertain, thanks to his extra lives and his ability to run to fame that is destined to be unstoppable, with new videogames planned and a new film to be released in 2024.
